A Letter from the Chairman

Anthony Bergamo, President and Founder

As we are concluding our twentieth year of service to law enforcement and of service to America, I write to you on behalf of the board members and personally to thank you for your continuing support.

Our mission has been expanded to include:

  1. The new police graduate and new police commander lecture program that was started by Zane Tankel.
  2. The Wellness Center at North Shore- Long Island Jewish Hospital for members of the military and law enforcement and their families which was started by Robert Rosen.
  3. The civilian emergency response program that is sponsored by Howard Rubenstein.
  4. Our Big Brother and Big Sister program staffed by agents on a one to one basis by the Drug Enforcement Agency and soon to be joined by the Federal Bureau of Investigation.

We still maintain our traditional mission of acting as a safety net for all of law enforcement and their families in times of emergency, natural disaster and tragedy.

The scholarship, executive education, special recognition and other programs have evolved and expanded to meet the changing needs of the law enforcement community.

As is our tradition, our annual luncheon will be in the fall. This year the event is on Thursday, November 1st at the Waldorf-Astoria. Please be so kind as to note this on your calendar.

We wish you a wonderful summer season and thank you again for your friendship.

With Kindest Regards.

Very Truly Yours,

Anthony Bergamo
